This is the type of stuff we're inspired by! Salon Art + Design, an art festival hosted in New York, was postponed a year due to COVID-19. In a graceful and timely move to adapt, they've decided to focus their efforts on a luxury print magazine to showcase the installations everyone is missing this year. There will also be a digital component to the catalog.

Life and business as we know it has changed, for better or worse. I've seen some great digital innovations to make up for in-person events and shopping, but somehow reverting back to traditional print is just as refreshing.

TIL (today I learned) about USPS's Every Door Direct Mail mapping tool. If you've ever considered a direct mail campaign for your local business, this is a great place to start. It's a free tool, you just pay for postage, and it's so easy!

1. Go to https://eddm.usps.com/eddm/customer/routeSearch.action

2. Browse local postal routes, including demographic data from the US Census (like age, average income, and household size.)

3. Select desired routes.

4. Design and print mailers to advertise your business. (We can help you with that!)

5. Bring your mailers to the local Post Office, pay there, or online! (Flyers, postcards, and any flats under 3 oz are at a flat rate of $0.191 per piece!)

Maybe I'm late to the party, but I thought address leads would need to be purchased or collected organically. Thanks, USPS! This service is awesome for local restaurants, retail and home services! If you don't have a very narrow audience to be targeted, a local mail campaign could drive sales and build brand recognition.
