Mural is located at TThe Little Resource Center Carbondalea family and parenting ​resource center. They serve families, ​parents, and caregivers in the Southern Illinois region through ​material, educational, and emotional support.

Melodies of the past
Celeste, Geneva and Isabelle are a reminder of the European immigrants who brought their culture and faith to southern Illinois. For the points, find them and take your picture with them.

Answer: They are the bells of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Herrin, named after the daughters of church parishioners Pete Cardani, James Colombo and Harry Calcaterra. These bells do more than mark the time, each ring connects to over a century ago when Italian immigrants brought their culture and faith to a new world, planting the seeds that have grown into one of Herrin's iconic traditions.

A work of Art

Paying tribute - Guess the mural from the photo clue and tell us the name painted on this mural.

Answer: Yolonde Byassee Peterson - beloved Marion Educator and “Matriarch of the Arts”. A mural was painted in her honor on the side of the Marion Cultural Center.

The chase has come to an end. We had a honking good time and hope you did too! There was a strong race all the way up till the end. We appreciate all those who participated. Hopefully you learned something new about Southern Illinois and maybe found a new place to shop or eat!
