With so many different Bible version's available today, which is the correct one for you ?

This is how I see it. If you are new to Christianity or even someone who has been a follower for sometime and does not fully understand the word of God.

Then let's take a look at some Bible versions that can open your mind and point you in the right direction.

The most accurate Bible version is the king James. Unfortunately though, for a beginner or even someone with limited knowledge and understanding, the king James is difficult to read and understand. So why would you start with the most difficult version first ?

By suggestion is this. No matter what your age, start with, and this will sound strange, a picture Bible that covers the entire Bible, all 66 books that are in the Bible.

Yes, I sent a picture Bible. Basically it's a child's Bible. So I ask you, aren't you a child when it comes to your knowledge and understanding of God's word ? You are just beginning to learn what the Bible is about, so why not start with something very easy and something that is very visual. Think about it, we are visual people, that is how we see things for the first time, by sight.

I hear this argument all the time. I am an adult, I have a college education and I know how to read.

My answer goes this way. When you began to learn to read, getting your education and learning a specialized skill. Did you start with the most difficult reference book in the beginning ?

This is not about your pride. It's about your spirituality, your eternal home. So start your learning of the Bible with that is easy to understand. A picture Bible. ( I do not endorse any Bible version, but the best picture Bible I have found is the - READ-N-GROW PICTURE BIBLE by Jimmy Swaggart Ministries )

The next step, would be a Bible that reads the way we speak using today's English. These are somewhat controversial, as the purists find these Bibles unacceptable. I find these Bible's very easy to read. It's almost like reading a novel. There's no starting and stopping, the flow of the words continue and it also makes complete sense.

And, the most important thing is to be certain that the Bible is 100% accurate in its translation. If it's not, then you are not getting the true word of God. ( ( I do not endorse any Bible version, but the best easy to read Bible I have found is the - God's Word Translation by ( God’s Word Mission Society )

Finally, we go to the gold standard when it come's to Bible's. That would be the King James Bible.

And, when you're talking about the king James Bible, you need to have one that is a study Bible that explains each verse in the Bible. So that you're able to get a full understanding of what God's word is actually saying. ( I do not endorse any Bible version, but the best study Bible I have found is the - KING JAMES EXPOSITOR'S STUDY BIBLE by Jimmy Swaggart Ministries )

JUST REMEMBER, THE BIBLE IS GODS WORD. AND WE NEED TO LIVE BY GOD'S WORD. SO THE BIBLES THAT WE CHOOSE, MUST BE 100% ACCURATE IN THE TRANSLATION SO THAT WE ARE LIVING BY WHAT WE LEARN.

What is it ?

How can I understand it ?

And, what role does Jesus Christ have in being born-again ?

Let's use an analogy, as much as Jesus used parable's in his ministry.

This is simplified and broken down to the basics of what it means to be born-again.

When Jesus was being beaten and made to carry a cross through the streets, that equate's to us committing sin's and placing them onto Jesus and having him to carry those sin's around.

Then when Jesus was put onto the cross and as he hung there on the cross, Jesus's blood drained from his body. Think of it this way, the blood is the sin's that were committed and once the blood has been drained from the body. Now there are no more shins to carry around. So you have been at that point cleansed of all sin's and unrighteousness.

Once the blood, has been drained from the body, death occurs. Think of it the same way, but with sin's replacing the blood. When the sin's are gone from our body's, out old "nature"(way's, like's) die's.

Some of the purists do not care for this next part being added to the born-again experience. But I find that it is a good representation of what our newness is all about.

After Jesus had died on the cross, he was then put in to a tomb. And, after three days, he arose and came into the world. Just as we go back into the world after we proclaim the sinner's prayer.

That is it, you are now born-again.

Question ?? If someone believes in God, wouldn't that be enough of a belief in a Heavenly God ?
The Answer Is - No.

This is what the Bible say's about believing, ( GW - James 2:19 - You believe that there is one God. That’s fine! The demons also believe that, and they tremble with fear.) ( GW - John 1:12 - However, he gave the right to become God’s children to everyone who believed in him.)

What is James 2:19 saying to us ? What it is saying, is that Satan/the devil is completely aware and acknowledges the existence of the living God. And, has made a conscious decision not to follow the word of God, but to do what is wrong and immoral.

Question ?? - if you believe that God exists, Then is there a difference between believing in God's existence and having a relationship with God?

Let's break that question into segments. When we say “believing in God”. We need to ask ourselves the question, what God are we talking about ? Is it a god that has been crafted by human hands(he statue, a picture, a crucifix, or some type of religious artifact) or is it our Heavenly Father ?

Let's try something different. Let me first give you the answer and then we will take a look at the question.

There are two parts to this answer. We can either have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, who then gives us access to our Heavenly Father. Or, God is nothing more then some concept that we have in our own imagination.

If we do believe in God in our hearts, then God will reveal himself to us, to let us know that we are loved and that he is looking after us. Or, we just come up with our own feelings and answers and then claim that God revealed himself to us by giving us those answers.

The Bible references that, by believing in and excepting what Jesus Christ did, is the only way that we can have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and God The Father.

The following Bible verse's will tell us how to gain eternal life. - ( GW - John 17:3 - This is eternal life: to know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you sent. )

My question to you is, what is Christianity ?

Yes, what is Christianity and how would you define it ?

Let me tell you what Christianity is not.

Christianity is not a building with a cross on it.

Christianity is not an altar.

Christianity is not holy water.

Christianity is not holy communion.

Then what is Christianity ?

Christianity is a relationship. A relationship with Jesus Christ.

Here's something interesting, our faith in God and/or Ourselves's or both is much like a puzzle.

There is no way to use the outside piece's of a puzzle in the middle of that puzzle. So your faith need's to be focused on God and not on how great you think that you are. OR, all of the riche's that you possess.

You did not get all that you have on your own, you DID HAVE HELP. The Lord provided for you by giving you the ability to do what you did or are doing. God provided to you by how much faith that you have,

Though when we struggle, it may not be because of lack of faith. It is more than likely because of just plain lack of knowledge.

When it come's too lacking in faith, where do we turn ? "The Bible", "The Word Of God" or someone with the knowledge of "God's Word".

And, where do we need to turn for Entrepreneurial Education ? The kind of education that deals with the subject matter of what our hopes and dreams for our business is ?

You need to turn to someone like me, because I know where the answer's can be found.

I was thinking about verses in the Bible that deal with prospering and how we need to have faith and believe in God and ourselves.

Then I remembered Matthew 25:14-30, the one where the rich man gave three servants, 3 different amounts of money because of how much he trusted each one.

One was given $10,000, another was given $4000, and the other one was given $2000.

When the rich man returned after some time, he asked how well had they done.? The man that was given $10,000, said I have doubled your money.

The man that was given $4000, said I have doubled your money.

The man that was given $2000, said he was afraid so he hid the money and I am returning the $2000 to you.

The first 2 men were faithful with what they were given. Where as the third man doubted, so he had little faith.

Their faithfulness was being rewarded by the result's, God has not called us to be successful, but rather to be faithful.

The bottom line is, we need to have faith that God is looking after us and we need to have faith in ourselves, as God has given us the ability to do whatever it is required of us. This is what faithfulness is.

And, how does this related to our business life ? Just read the text above, it state's it very plainly.

Let take a look at some income figure's. Working 8 hour's a day and 250 day's a year, get you these result's below.

$15 an hour/$30,000 a year. $17.5 an hour/$35,000 a year. $20 an hour/$40,000 a year. $25 an hour/$50,000 a year. $30 an hour/$60,000 a year.

It does not matter if you go to work for someone and slave away for what ever you are paid an hour. The more you are paid, the more you are attached to that job. And, it is more difficult to make the change's that you so desire.

So often people start out with the right-set-of-mind and put in a valiant effort to change and the result is not achieved.

There are 2 reason's that this happen's. The first reason is, lack of knowledge. And, the second reason is, no encouragement and understanding from the people around you. Meaning, family and friend's.

Both of these reason's for failure are easy to over come

Let's talk and see what your plan for your life is. You may find that being a business owner is not for you. OR, it may be a good fit for your future plans.

Let me tell you something about changing your life.

When it comes to making changes, I know all of you think about the changes that you want to make. More often than not, you do not make those changes that you think you should do or know that you need to do.

The question is, WHY don't you make those changes ?

Because you have become comfortable with what you have. You have settled in and made what you have right now, your life.

You keep dreaming and hoping that something will happen to make your life better. Like winning the lottery or hitting that big jackpot. You know as well as I do, those are just dreams and hopes.

Let me give you a statistic about taking action. 98% of people that dream and hope of change never do anything about it. And, another piece of that statistic is, that you will be in the same place you are right now in five years.

Another shocking bit of information, if you're there in five years, you will be there for the rest of your life. Of course, you could win the lottery or hit that giant jackpot.

Okay, let us take a look at what "The Word Of God" says about "The Lord" providing you with wealth; 1 Samuel 2:7 - The Lord causes poverty and grants wealth. He humbles people; he also promotes them.

Sound's interesting, but what does it mean ?

Riches are from God and are the gifts from his Kingdom. The gifts may look like what you have earned from your hard work. But, you must remember, without the Grace Of God, you would not have the work to earn the riches.

So, what it comes down to, God can give and God can take away.

What do you come away with, after thing about these word's ? Start making change's in your life now. And, honer ''The Word Of God".

Before you know it, you will see change that you never thought would happen to you.

Something that we need to talk about. A thought that I know that you are thinking and even saying to yourself. What is that thought ? Is this a rip-off or a scam ?

Let's go back to "The Word Of God".

"Proverbs 13:11", 11- Wealth gained through injustice dwindles away, but whoever gathers little by little has plenty.

Now, I am going to ask you a question ? Is it easier to do thing's honestly or dishonestly ?

Clearly, doing business honestly is far more easier, then attempting to deceive other's.

And, as a devout Christian, there is no way that I could go against "The Word Of God".
