NO BUENO! Here's what it looks like now when you get a reviews infraction with Google.

Make sure not to break any of Google's Review Policies.

Here are 10 DON'TS...

1. No incentives or rewards
2. No aggressively twisting people's arm to write certain things
3. No penalties for not leaving a review
4. Don't mention employees or agents (if you are a team or brokerage) - this is a new one
5. Don't have employees or agents solicit reviews (if you are a team or brokerage) - this is a new one
6. No profanity or hate speech or serial content in the review or reply
7. No private information in the review or reply
8. No fake reviews
9. Don't get a lot of reviews at once (unless your business routinely does this)
10. No review gating (like when they click on 5 stars it takes them to leave a review on your profile, but when they click 1 star it takes them to a different internal place)

🚚🤖 If you live in a big warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing area, here's an article idea and prompts to get you started.

As always...

- Read, edit, add to, customize, delete, put your own thoughts into it, etc as needed (both the prompts below and the article)
- Include images
- Make sure you're paying attention to all your page settings and structure

RESEARCH:

START PROMPT> Research everything needed in order to write a comprehensive article about how home values could be affected by the logistics industry in ____TOWN, STATE_____ (now and in future) by AI and automation in the industrial sector and in supply chain management sector and in logistics transportation sector. Research good and bad things, pros and cons, everything. The audience for the article is home sellers in _____TOWN, STATE_____. The article will have two main sections... 1) Pros and 2) Cons. With sub sections to include all the pros and cons found in the research.
ROLE:
Act as a thoughtful writer and synthesizer of ideas, tasked with creating an engaging and readable blog post for a real estate agent website specializing in listings in ____TOWN, STATE____ and focusing on providing home sellers in that area with information and resources to make informed decisions when selling their home in those areas. Your goal is to distill the top most surprising, counter-intuitive, or impactful takeaways from the provided source materials into a compelling article. The writing style should be clean, accessible, and highly scannable, employing an informal yet professional tone. Craft a compelling, click-worthy headline. Begin the article with a short introduction that hooks the reader by establishing a relatable problem or curiosity, then present each of the takeaway points as a distinct section with a clear, bolded subheading. The article should have two main sections... 1) Pros and 2) Cons. With sub sections to include all the pros and cons found in the research. Within each section, use short paragraphs to explain the concept clearly, and don't just summarize; offer a brief analysis or a reflection on why this point is so interesting or important, and if a powerful quote exists in the sources, feature it in a blockquote for emphasis. Conclude the post with a brief, forward-looking summary of the article that very briefly recaps the possible ways things could transpire.

TOPIC:
How home values could be affected by the logistics industry in ____TOWN STATE____ being affected (now and/or in future) by AI and automation in the industrial sector, supply chain management sector, and in the logistics transportation sector. Good and bad, pros and cons.

AUDIENCE:
Homeowners and home sellers in ____TOWN, STATE____.

ADDITIONAL INSTRUCTIONS:
Use proper SEO heading structures and lists when necessary. 7th grade level, no complicated language or jargon. Maximum of 1,000 words. Use contractions when applicable (you’re, it’s, I’m, etc - that’s how I would talk). Be straight and to the point and get the points across in as few words as possible. Keep in mind Google’s Helpful Content criteria as you write.

Losing a Google review is annoying, and losing a bunch is infuriating 🤬

To have any prayer of getting them back, you need to do a few things BEFORE the reviews go missing.

Here’s how to protect your reviews and put together your Google Reviews Go-Bag so that you’re ready.

Without these things, you’re fighting a steep uphill battle. Google support needs this information in order to do anything about it.

And doing this things will also give you what you need to make it easier to track, analyze, and utilize your reviews.

Here’s what to do...

1) Reply to all reviews

Studies show that all of the reviews that Google remove don’t have replies. And remember that Google is now reviewing replies for policy violations before publishing (like if you replied, “Thanks for the review! Your gift card is on its way!”)

2) Screenshots of reviews

Take screenshots of all your reviews like the example. Make sure to expand the reviews and replies to show the entire review and reply. And make sure you get the user name of the reviewer.

If you have a lot of reviews, this can be a pain, but not other way to do it (unless you create an AI agent to do it for you).

Zoom out as far as you can on your screen to fit as many in one shot as possible, while also making sure it can still easily be read.

3) Use Google Takeout to Export Your Reviews

Use Google Takeout to export your reviews.

Deselect all, then select only Google Business Profile data (unless you want other types of data too, then you can select those as well).

If you are asking, “Can’t I just give the screenshots of my reviews to AI and it can extract all the text for me instead of using Google Takeout?”...

Yes, you can and should do that, but having the official export file from Google is good to have as well.

Most agents have stock and/or pirated images on their website. And they usually don't have enough images either.

This is bad for both SEO and conversion.

In order to please website visitors [potential clients] AND search engines, the images on your website should follow these 5 criteria.

To make it easier, start with your home page, then do one page at a time.

You will HAVE TO go out in the world, and take pictures.

1) Original: The image should not exist anywhere else.

2) Data: Do not process it. Leave all data associated with the image on the image. (Date, time, device, location, etc)

3) Title, Alt Text, and Description: Optimize your image text on backend. Basically, you should describe what the image is... You can think of search engines and AI like a blind person's website reader thing... When they their reader comes to your images, you don't want it to say "IMG67356", you want it to say "Carlisle Theater on N Hanover St in Carlisle, PA marquee sign lit up at dusk in fall with clear skies - sign reads Fall Film Festival this October".

4) Should relate to the page or section it is representing

5) Images depicting you, your market, what you do, and the business you want to attract are best.
