The stress of everything going on has taken its toll.
I realized this week that I needed to focus on my health, home, and family, so I officially put in my notice at work.
Nadeem is still working, but I am focusing on the move for right now.

Hello All, I’m still here. Took some time in December to enjoy the birth of my Grandaughter and to deal with some health and home things. I just want to put out this public service announcement: tailgating is bad! My car was totaled, and I’m extremely grateful I wasn’t injured, dealing with the aftermath has been a headache! His innocence was proven, but the system didn’t care. We cared. We loved. And InshaAllah, we will continue to move forward with his legacy.

DHS is ending TPS status for Burma while the State Department is still issuing a Level 4 Travel Advisory. Oh, and let's not forget that the country is actually recognized as Myanmar by the United Nations and the rest of the world since 1989.
