OMG! Fastest year of my life just flew by. Here's a little update for everyone who's been wondering what I'm up to and why I haven't been my normal social net butterfly for the past year.

One year ago I found myself scurrying for business after a few slow months. I filled my schedule and shot non-stop to get back on track. Had just finished shooting 25+ pinup sessions at Tiki Oasis and had over 500 edits and various projects promised (and paid for) to a variety of clients, literally months worth of work to just get caught up.

At that moment, the biggest and best design contract of my life came my way and I took it. It was a rush project. I had to learn the the LED lighting industry in a heartbeat and become an expert overnight so I could art direct what proved just a couple months later to be, no joke, the largest electronic product release in history. The weeks were long... but flew by in a flash. Sometimes over 100/week on this project alone. I managed to make the deadlines. In just a few months, with a skeleton crew, the new Lamps division of RAB produced and delivered 375 SKUs of LED lamps ranging from decoratives, linear tubes, compacts, reflectors, PARs, A-line to high output HID replacements... and I design directed each box, created every graphic and icon, managed imaging, created a unique look for the division. I also designed a detailed catalog that showcased all of the new products. The launch was a success! The business is growing and we just released another 140 SKUs and will release hundreds more in new categories including downlights and smart bulbs before the end of the year. I've now designed 3 catalogs and it's some of the best design work Iv'e ever done.
.. and, if you are wondering. The pinup girls all got their photos, eventually. It just took a bit longer than expected.

In addition to RAB I've been focusing on other awesome commercial projects such as shooting lifestyle for Mankind Dispensary, Music videos for David J, Fashion for Tolani Collection, Pinup for Tiki Oasis, and of course there have been smaller design projects and a bunch of fun/sexy shoots at the studio...
