One of the most common questions I’m asked ALL the time is “Where are you getting your new template stock photos?” and I’m here to ungatekeep the secret: It’s Lummi AI.⁠

Finding high-quality stock images for website templates used to be time consuming, energy draining and expensive — I’d spend hours piecing together random free stock images to attempt to get a brand story that felt even slightly cohesive (a near impossible task — If you know you know!)⁠

But now tools like Lummi exist that make image sourcing not just efficient, but actually fun! It feels like a creative playground, and I’ve even found images I’ve loved so much that have inspired entire templates.⁠

These phrases are SO good they almost feel hypnotic 🔮 Stop only focusing on SEO & steal these instead!⁠

Reminder: Having great SEO doesn’t mean you’ll actually make sales. Turning clicks into conversions is all about having ultra-persuasive copy that ticks all of the boxes for human customers, and the goal is to make them fall in love.⁠

Here’s how to position your templates as the must-have:⁠

🚀 After years of trial and error I’ve found that what template buyers want the most is to know they’re buying a product that’s beginner-friendly, fast, and full of lifetime value⁠
⁠
🚀 Use adjectives to describe your templates that make people feel — Functional words are a must but they won’t create copy that stands out⁠
⁠
🚀 Don’t waste copy talking about the design itself (that’s what visuals are for!) — The average attention span will only read a few sentences, so focus on the results your template will give them⁠

I know this is a strategy that works, because it’s the exact one I use when I create listings that give me 5-figure months!⁠

The answer I feel like I need to share with everyone? I realized I was holding myself back and it was just the right time and logical move for my business. ⁠

Let me preface this by saying adding extra platforms is NOT the best way for every designer to upscale. It’s not down to skill (because designing templates with Squarespace is considerably easier than Showit!) but instead depends on where you’re at with managing your business.⁠

But if you are in control and ready to upscale, adding Squarespace templates as an addition to your business could be your fast track ticket to doubling your revenue in weeks. (I really wish I’d listened to the DMs and done this a year ago!)⁠

Search these names to find the best-of-the-best stock photos for your designs and content 📸⁠

These are some of my holy grail, go-to photographers for when I’m designing! Pexels and Kaboompics are both incredible resources for non-stock photo looking stock photos (Who remembers early 2000s Shutterstock!?) if you prefer real imagery that isn’t AI.⁠

Plus, Kaboompics just launched a new “Brand Photoshoots” section! So instead of having to piece together random shots to appear like they came from the same place, you can now find full shoots to make your content look even more professional and less stock-y. I’ve included a few of my favorites!⁠
