We've been away a while. Here's a photo of our founder, Gerry Blankenship, next to one of 3 Newport, Oregon signs. Joe Vlasek and Pete McKearnen teamed up with Gerry to produce 3 of the biggest and most beautiful signs Oregon has ever seen.. The ultimate power trio of carved wood signs. Oregon, you are a lucky state to have signs this good.

Refurbished the McMinnville area Chamber of Commerce this week. It needed a little TLC. If you have one of our signs, they can last many decades with proper care. The chamber sign will look great for another 5-7 years, at that time we will ask to repaint and check the condition of the substrate (wood). Need a sign? Give us a call at 503-568-5442

Recently put this sign in the ground for Kramer Vineyards. This is western red cedar stained with a black walnut tinted exterior oil stain by Armstrong-Clark and lettered in one shot enamel. It was a pleasure serving another small family business with the second generation taking the reins. Need a sign? Give us a call.

We have been plugging away at restorations for the City of McMinnville, Oregon. City hall had quite a bit of rotten wood that needed to be replaced, I still need to snag a photo of the after pic for that sign.

Next up, Mac PD and water treatment. Keep your eyes peeled as we may be featured in the News Register sometime soon.

McMinnville's restorations getting a slightly new color scheme. More to follow. We now only use premium Benjamin Moore exterior latex paints and One Shot enamels at Northwood Signs.
