Turning the Negative into Positive:

One thing that makes businesses wary of social media is negative comments online. Not to worry. Identifying and sharing some rules of engagement initially will help - but also following these suggestions:

1. Be sure to have and share a Rules of Engagement for your page
2. Don't be emotional
3. Acknowledge the comment with a polite response
4. Ask the person to call you to discuss further and make the situation "right"

No person or business is perfect...customers understand this. By showing that you are willing to accept criticism and make the effort to do the right thing, customers/fans will understand and possibly be even MORE loyal.

Careful friends - There is a new (actually returning) scam out on Facebook Messenger: If a friend "re-friends" you and then sends you a message talking about a Facebook Poker Lottery - you know it is a scam. Maybe this return has something to do with the fact the Facebook is making people use their messaging system...
