We literally have 1 foot in Mexico and one here.
With just a few days left I am trying to finish all my work. Lately, It has been A LOT. Not just the work but just life 🥲.
You could never figure that this guy in this picture had a kidney stone. He was helping me to fold shirts for a volleyball camp.
He finally was able to pass it but it has been a WILD RIDE for a few weeks now. Looking forward to some family time hopefully less eventful 😅.

Friends that have been incredibly patient, THANK YOU. I have 5 orders left and we are done 🙌🏽🇲🇽

I was thinking in all the things that happened in the last 5 weeks, and honestly it would seem like a joke if you didnt know it was true.
There were times when it was a bit harder to get grounded back to His Truth, but God's faithfulness and His Word have been there for me in every single step.
So thankful for the customers who have supported me to raise my money to go to see my family in Mexico. It has been a wild ride, things have changed and some aren't even certain right now, but we will all go see my family this month and we are excited about it.
I am working to get ALL my orders out by next week to be able to have time to get ready for Mexico. 🇲🇽

And for those of you who know a bit more of my trip to Mexico, thanks for your prayers and support. It has meant a lot to me.

Just a quick update for those of you who have reached out to me to order something to help me raise a bit of the money to visit my family. We got our passports we needed!

While I am not even close to get even 1 ticket 🫠 I still am rejoicing about finally getting the kids' passports!

I dont know if its delusional, but I am believing we will all go and visit my parents this fall. I dont want to have to wait only for an emergency to see my family! I just have hope and faith God will provide.

BUT to those who have prayed with me and for me and have supported me this month or any other month, thank you for being here!!

Forever thankful with this beautiful land that I love.

About almost 4 years ago I finished this blanket and decided I needed to finally apply for my American citizenship. I raffled it during a summer and raised the money to pay for my paperwork to apply citizenship.
I became a citizen and I think it was last year, when the lady who won the quilt messaged me and said she wanted to gift it back to me as a gift for applying and becoming a citizen.

Now this quilt is in my foyer and will stay there for a while ♥️💙.

I love that I was allowed to become an American too! I get to embrace two different cultures and citizenships. While I know this home is only temporary, I have always felt welcomed and loved.
Happy birthday to America 🇺🇸
And thank you God for the opportunity of serving YOU here and the privilege to call it my earthly home.

So apparently yesterday was National Sewing Machine Day!
What? There is a day to celebrate these amazing machines?!?!
I clearly missed it, but never again because my birthday is tomorrow so I will never forget its 2 days before my birthday. Seems fitting that it is on June 🥳🎂

Anyways, I love all my sewing machines. I actually could just buy more and wish I could but there is no more room 😭.

I actually sold 2 of them because I had a little too many 🙃 😅. Some people like to buy cars, some lile to buy guitars... I like to buy sewing machines ♥️.
