LHS has experienced a great deal of growth over the last year as a whole and while that growth is exactly what weโve been aiming for we feel itโs time to implement a few new rules to keep the quality high and continue to meet the expectations that have achieved us the growth that weโve achieved so far.
๐. Each session will be limited to 34 horses, no more. We reserve the right to refuse your consignment or postpone to a later session based on body condition, lack of quality in media, inability to follow the rules, late entry, etc.
๐. Media is key!
THIS IS A BIG ONE.
This is what our buyers depend on to give them an accurate idea of what each horse is. A minimum of 10 PROFESSIONAL QUALITY photos must be submitted for each horse. These must include stills and actions shots. Cell phone photos will not be accepted. We ask that if you or whoever is proofing your photos is not proficient with editing out halters, please leave them on. Horses should be portrayed in an accurate way. Videos must be in the form of YouTube links.
If you need to be referred to a photographer in your area please let us know! We have a list of pre-approved photographers from across the country we can share with you.
๐. It is now an option for you to submit a reel video for your horse through your consignment form. Facebook algorithms give the most traction to original reels at their highest quality and that is why we have chosen this route for reels. Itโs the best and most accurate way to get reel views for your horse on social media. This is optional, but encouraged.
๐. Transparency is a non-negotiable. If thereโs an issue it needs to be stated. Accurate information such as age and height are equally important. We have built an amazing base of trusting buyers based on the standards that we require from our sellers and will continue to uphold those standards.
