Not everything you see on the internet is true.
Shocking, we know.
The number of people building strategies around viral posts, random advice from self-proclaimed experts, and screenshots with zero context is honestly impressive.
Just because someone recommends a specific time to post or a particular amount of posts a day, says hashtags are dead, or recommends you a hack to increase your views, followers or sales, doesn’t make it true nor the strategy for you.
Social media is full of opinions disguised as facts, and algorithms don’t hand out credentials before amplifying content.
Before you change your entire strategy based on something you saw while scrolling, ask yourself: Where did this information come from? Is there context missing? Does it actually apply to my business?
Because following bad advice is still following advice.
And sometimes the most valuable thing you can do for your marketing is stop taking every social media hot take at face value.
