Five days in 🇪🇨 that felt like ten — Amazon rivers, caimans, prehistoric birds & fish, and fruits that tasted like they’d been waiting their whole lives to be discovered.
We made chocolate with an indigenous family and tried taxo ice cream — bright and electric, like passionfruit struck by lightning.
somehow fit a lifetime of Ecuador into half a week — weaving through cliffside chaos where even gasoline trucks race each other around the bends.
Grateful for the adventure, the laughter, and for his cousin’s family, whose warmth and hospitality made it all chef’s kiss!
Next visit: less jungle, more Galápagos — family in tow, slower pace, same magic. 🐢🌊
