After nearly a decade of missing Ben & Jerry’s Chubby Hubby ice cream, I figured I have the skills to try and duplicate it. Have to say for the first pass, it’s pretty darn close! The fudge ribbon may need some work on the next iteration though. * allegedly B&J’s still makes this flavor but I haven’t found it anywhere!

About Us

When I was growing up, I was lucky enough to be related to my two best friends - my sister Lisa and my cousin Cara. The three of us were inseparable and always preferred to play together (we still do!). One night when we were about 6, 10 and 11 years old, we experimented with a chocolate lollipop and a glass of milk. From that experiment, we came up with a company name (Cara+Lisa+Dana = Calisdan), a product (Lollimilk) and even a jingle ("Lollimilk" sung to the tune of Lollipop by the Chordettes).

While Cara and Lisa went on to have careers in writing and marketing, I wound up in the advertising technology and marketing fields but never stopped cooking or thinking about food. In 2004, I attended the Cooking and Hospitality Institute of Chicago (CHIC), a Le Cordon Bleu culinary school, getting a degree in Culinary Arts.

I've been cooking for family and friends with an occasional paid gig here and there. I'm finally taking the advice I've received from many of my loved ones and sharing my passion for cooking and all things food related with all of you.

I’ll be cooking multiple meals each week for you to choose from in quantities that will feed 2-4 people. In addition, there will be small batch canned goods as well as other culinary services.
