Erika, our creative coordinator, recently helped out at the Oster Regent Cedar Falls Community Theatre Teen Film Camp and had this to say about it:
"I had the best time at Oster Regent's Teen Film Camp! Over the course of a week, the students put together short films, learned about lighting and editing, and wrapped it all up by cheering on each other’s finished projects.
Our group created a slasher short called Slumber Slash and a comedic film about the Seven Deadly Sins, and I also helped edit a funny commercial for a superhero academy. It was inspiring to see how much creativity and collaboration came out of just one week. Getting to connect with these young filmmakers, hear their ideas, and share advice along the way was a really great experience, and I’m thankful to both Greg Holt of the Oster Regent and Pixel Labs for allowing me to do so."
