You only live once. Buy the tickets. Take the trip. Book the reservation. Schedule the girls night. Whatever it is. Make the memories. Do the thing.

Because all of the other stuff, the busy-ness of life, it will still be there tomorrow. But some of these moments, these experiences, will not.

If you can do it, do the thing.
You won’t regret it.

I’m talking all about it on my substack today. Comment SUBSTACK and I’ll send you the link.

This is my favorite question to be asked.

Most of what I share and how I share is through the filter of: what would a non-Jewish friend think?

I often share the story about the importance of reaching out your hand. Sharing things that are important to you in an effort to ope the door to educate.

Thank you for giving us the space to share these important pieces of our advocacy work in an effort to inspire others in the fight against antisemitism.

October 7th changed everything for me. Not just as a Jewish woman, but also as an entrepreneur, a mother...a human being.

Many of you know me through my advocacy. But, what you might not know: for 16 years, my whole world has been about entrepreneurship.

After spending a decade founding, building and then selling a 7-figure business, I launched in 2021. Now a top 0.5% podcast, newsletter, mentorship program, and community, it’s mission is to help women over forty build, grow, and scale their businesses through simple marketing strategies.

But, after October 7th, I couldn’t post about any of it. So I stopped. And I started talking about what was breaking my heart instead.

What happened next I never could have predicted.

Speaking up placed me in rooms I never imagined, speaking at events across the country alongside some of the most courageous Jewish voices of our time. And Jewish women business owners found me. They flooded into my mentorship, Marketing Made Simple for Small Business, looking for a place where they could talk about their businesses AND their grief AND their fears, all in the same breath.

What we’ve built together is something I will carry with me forever.

But, the biggest silver lining, the one I return to when the hate gets loud, is this: I know what my purpose is now.

Before October 7th, I had a platform and I had passion. Now I have both of those things, plus a mission I didn’t choose but would never give back.

I used to help women build businesses.

Now, I help women build businesses AND empower them to stand up for their values, in business and in life. I work with them to build something bold, in their businesses, in their communities, and in themselves. I fight for our community and I show my daughters what it looks like to stand up for what’s right, even when it’s hard.

It’s a life with a purpose louder than it was before October 7th, and I wouldn’t change it for anything.

If you’re a woman building a business who wants strategy, support, and a community where you can show up as your full self, I want to know you. Introduce yourself below. The link to learn more about working with me is in my bio.

It really is as simple as that, isn’t it? Thank you for your wise and logical words. More people need to ask this question of others and of themselves.

Thank you for giving us the space to share our stories in the hopes of inspiring others.

Following a month that included so much darkness, I’m choosing to focus on and remember the silver linings.

Because when we choose darkness over the bright spots, they win.

Here are mine ✨✨✨ and there were many of them.

swipe ➡️ to see who I got to spend the month of March with 💙 blessed is an understatement.

Each and everyone of these people have had no problems standing on their soapboxes for other marginalized groups. Each and every one of these people had no problem taking from me: job opportunities, connections, money…support when they needed it and my unconditional friendship.

While I won’t ever understand silence like this, what I do understand is who these people are. And I will never, ever pour into them again.

I’m asked about this all the time so I want to remind you: Let them go, they’re not worth it. Find the people who WILL love you, care about you and support you unconditionally. Find the people who WILL stand up for your right to exist even when it’s hard.

They’re there, these people exist. I promise they do.
