October 7th changed everything for me. Not just as a Jewish woman, but also as an entrepreneur, a mother...a human being.
Many of you know me through my advocacy. But, what you might not know: for 16 years, my whole world has been about entrepreneurship.
After spending a decade founding, building and then selling a 7-figure business, I launched in 2021. Now a top 0.5% podcast, newsletter, mentorship program, and community, it’s mission is to help women over forty build, grow, and scale their businesses through simple marketing strategies.
But, after October 7th, I couldn’t post about any of it. So I stopped. And I started talking about what was breaking my heart instead.
What happened next I never could have predicted.
Speaking up placed me in rooms I never imagined, speaking at events across the country alongside some of the most courageous Jewish voices of our time. And Jewish women business owners found me. They flooded into my mentorship, Marketing Made Simple for Small Business, looking for a place where they could talk about their businesses AND their grief AND their fears, all in the same breath.
What we’ve built together is something I will carry with me forever.
But, the biggest silver lining, the one I return to when the hate gets loud, is this: I know what my purpose is now.
Before October 7th, I had a platform and I had passion. Now I have both of those things, plus a mission I didn’t choose but would never give back.
I used to help women build businesses.
Now, I help women build businesses AND empower them to stand up for their values, in business and in life. I work with them to build something bold, in their businesses, in their communities, and in themselves. I fight for our community and I show my daughters what it looks like to stand up for what’s right, even when it’s hard.
It’s a life with a purpose louder than it was before October 7th, and I wouldn’t change it for anything.
If you’re a woman building a business who wants strategy, support, and a community where you can show up as your full self, I want to know you. Introduce yourself below. The link to learn more about working with me is in my bio.
