50 Pound Boson is seeking an entry-level E-commerce Assistant Account Manager to support ecommerce client accounts and internal teams. If you love data, enjoy working directly with clients in an account management role, and have great communication skills, this could be a great place for you to thrive.

While we require marketing experience, having a web design background would be a welcome bonus. Of course, we will train the right candidate to manage web projects, if needed.

Duties:
Manage the implementation of marketing plans for client projects
Monitor website analytics and online advertising metrics, results, and effectiveness.
Coordinate, monitor, and see the successful launch of website projects and ecommerce marketing initiatives
Communicate with clients, resolve issues and assure continuing progress on projects
Provide regular updates and reports to the management and assigned clients

Required skills
Be a clear & effective communicator
Be coachable and ready to learn
Be self-motivated with a strong desire to get things done at a high-quality level
Be organized and an effective manager of your schedule and tasks
Be flexible, fun and a team player

Required experience
At least 1-2 years of experience (including internships) preferred
Have experience in one or more digital marketing arena (Paid social, organic social, paid search, website design/development and/or email marketing)
Have experience creating reports using Excel, PowerPoint or Google Docs
Have the ability to develop strong relationships with customers.

You'll work with people on your team who will help you professionally grow and feel fulfilled from your work.

As much as we appreciated the much needed break while the ecommerce world slowed down over the last 3 days ... it's energizing to come in on the morning of 12/26 and see everybody's sales climbing again. Noticeably. Even though it's only 9:30 a.m.

Was going to say "Who needs caffeine?" but, yeah, we all still need caffeine. ;)

We love Allbirds shoes here 50 Pound Boson.

We spend a lot of time building Amazon sales for our partners.

Which is why stories like this are always chilling.

Amazon has made a big deal about doing more to fight counterfeiters and protect brands. (And they've started to follow through on some of it.) But what happens if the one doing the cheap knockoffs is ... Amazon?

(Disclaimer / note): Allbirds is not a client of ours. They just make super-comfortable shoes and have a social mission we can get behind. So seeing them get knocked off by someone who most likely isn't using the same sustainable manufacturing and sourcing standards is even more troubling.
