Spent some time with our good friends at A & A Concrete in Des Moines yesterday.

Updated photos of the team and company are a huge part of a strong website refresh, so we wanted to approach this shoot the right way. Nothing fancy, just solid people, a camera, and authentic content that represents the company well.

Big news for WEBBLDR.

We just added the DJI Matrice 4E to the lineup, opening the door for drone surveying and mapping services. This has been a consistent request from clients, and it is something we have been working toward bringing in the right way.

This builds onto our previous drone services, adding accurate, data-driven site insights for contractors. From volumetrics and topographic mapping to consistent site documentation, this opens up a new level of value for teams that need reliable information to make decisions.

We’re excited to get this in the air and start putting it to work.

We had a great time working with the Century 21 team in Hiawatha on this shoot earlier this week.

We covered everything from team photos to headshots, and it turned into a really fun session with an awesome group of people.

We’ve been getting asked about the kind of equipment we use at WEBBLDR, so here’s a look at what we run daily and why it works:

Sony FX30 + Sigma 18-50mm on RS3 Mini
This is our main video setup. The FX30 gives us cinema-level video with strong dynamic range, which is key for harsh outdoor lighting on jobsites. Paired with the Sigma 18-50mm, we get flexibility for tight shots and wider scenes, all stabilized on the RS3 Mini for smooth, controlled movement.

Sony ZV-E10 II + Sigma 24-70mm
This is our go-to for photos. The 24-70mm range covers everything from detail shots to full project overviews, and the fast aperture keeps images clean and sharp in varying conditions. It is a versatile setup that consistently produces strong results across different types of projects.

DJI Mavic 4 Pro
Aerials are a must in construction. This drone allows us to capture scale, layout, and progress in a way ground footage cannot. It is fast to deploy, reliable in the field, and delivers sharp, professional footage that clients expect.

The equipment is important, but the real value comes from using it with purpose to capture work in a way that reflects its quality and scale.
