Red Maple | McKinney, TX

This backyard transformation is almost complete, and the results are incredible.

What started with an outdated patio cover and overgrown shrubs has been completely reimagined into a true outdoor living space. This project included removing the existing patio cover, clearing the landscape, expanding the patio, and building a beautiful new gabled patio cover that creates an open, spacious feel while providing plenty of shade.

The new salt-finished patio extension adds both durability and style, while the custom outdoor kitchen features a Lueders stone countertop and premium grilling setup that's perfect for entertaining family and friends.

One of the biggest upgrades was replacing the existing living room windows with a large sliding glass door, creating a seamless connection between the indoor and outdoor living spaces and making the backyard feel like a natural extension of the home.

We're putting the finishing touches on the Red Maple project now, and we can't wait to share the completed transformation. This McKinney backyard is on its way to becoming the perfect place for relaxing, entertaining, and making memories for years to come.

This is what a real outdoor living space looks like in Fort Worth, Texas.

This backyard was built to be the place everyone wants to be. A detached patio cover with a vaulted wood ceiling and exposed beams anchors the whole space, sitting right at the edge of the pool with open views out to the property.

Underneath, this family has everything they need. A custom stone outdoor kitchen with a built-in grill, storage, and prep space, a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace with a mounted TV above it, comfortable seating, and a wide-open patio with plenty of room to host.

Cook by the pool, watch the game by the fire, and stay outside from morning swims to late evenings. Every detail, from the stone columns to the roofline, was built to last and built for Texas living.

This new outdoor kitchen build is just getting started, and we are already fired up about how this one is going to turn out. A 12-foot island going in along the brick wall, built with manufactured ledgestone and finished with a Lueders stone countertop.

Here is what this family is getting when we are done:
▪️32" gas grill with a vent hood overhead, two drawer and door combos for storage, a dedicated trash drawer, and a built-in refrigerator.

We're also installing a premium outdoor kitchen complete with a Delta Heat gas grill, PCM cabinetry, and an Artisan refrigerator for a true backyard cooking experience.

To complete the space, turf is added to provide a clean, low-maintenance yard that stays beautiful in every season.

This custom outdoor kitchen is being built around a 12-foot island positioned along the home's brick wall, creating a seamless extension of the outdoor living space. The kitchen will feature manufactured ledger stone finishes paired with beautiful Lueders stone countertops for a timeless Texas look.

The cooking area includes a 32-inch gas grill with a convenient two-drawer and access door combo below, a built-in trash drawer, a refrigerator, and a vent hood above the grill for both functionality and comfort.

We're still in the early stages, but this backyard is well on its way to becoming the perfect space for outdoor cooking, entertaining, and making memories with family and friends.
