Here are some quick, easy ideas:

🌱 Buy a reusable water bottle for each family member instead of plastic bottles.
🌱 Try biking somewhere instead of driving just one day/mo.
🌱 Stock up on those reusable bags for grocery shopping.
🌱 Unplug certain appliances when not in use. You’d be surprised how much energy a plugged in coffee pot can use when you’re done with your morning cup of joe.
🌱 Know the rules to recycle. Many items need to be completely rinsed out in order to be recycled, and certain materials can’t be recycled at all.
🌱 Reduce the amount of fertilizer used in your yard. We all love the lush green lawns but it’s wreaking havoc on our most precious local resource, our Great Lakes.
