Ads are just ONE piece of the pie! 🤯

The BEST pies have just the right mix of ingredients. 🤩

To get the best pie 😉 make sure you have: great email marketing, an organic presence on social media, an irresistible offer, and a website that converts! (check out my fav accounts below)

If done right, an ad will catch potential clients attention… but they need more info & interactions to be a conversion (more info on this in my last post 🤝).

A quick example is; a potential client clicks on your ad but your website doesn’t load fast enough and clicks off. You can eventually retarget that person but they may run into the same issue again. Main point: make sure you are full optimized!! 👌🏻

Great copy is a conversation, not a statement! 👏🏻

When you're talking about your brand, it's easy to get caught up in the 'youness' of it all.

🏅You're so great.
🏅What you're offering is so amazing.
🏅You're blowing the competition out of the water.

And that might all be true, but where's your audience in all that noise? 🤔

👉🏻What matters to the people you want to sell your stuff or services to?

👉🏻Which of their problems are you trying to solve?

If you start with your audience, your copy is much more likely to stay on the right track.

Do you have an email list?👀

Facebook and Instagram are a great way to start growing the know, like, and trust factor and get in some touchpoints.
Buuuut, we know the algorithm makes it so that your posts are not as likely to be seen.

So, let’s say someone likes your Facebook business page. They probably aren’t seeing all of your posts. You’re lucky if they see any of them at all.

On average, any given post on a business page is only seen by about 2% of their fans.

This is why we want to grow an email list. Well, part of why.
Here’s the other part…

We don’t own Facebook. We can’t control Facebook, Instagram, or the algorithm.

But when someone signs up on your email list, you own your list, and you can email them at any time.

And just like with posting, you can grow an email list organically, but it is SO much faster when you run ads to grow your list.

✔️ True!

That's why it's imperative that you appear in front of your audience over and over again so that your brand is remembered.

And why we shouldn't put all our marketing eggs in one basket. 🍳

We need to show up where our audience is. More than likely, they don’t spend all their time online just on Facebook, or only on their emails.

If you want people to notice you, be persistent, consistent, and diversify your marketing strategy 🙌

Do the research to figure out where your people are, then make sure your brand shows up there, time and time again.

A client of mine said that to me recently and it's probably the best thing I can hear as an Ad Manager. 😂⁠

However, I know it's hard out there trying to find a good Ad Manager that you can trust for your business.⁠
⁠
So, here's a few tips:👇🏻
⁠1.) Think about how you want to be served-If you don't know what you want your experience to be, how can you find someone that is a good fit for you?⁠
⁠
2.) Ask about their business style to make sure it aligns with what you're looking for-- What type of client are you? Do you like high touch and high communication? Are you a "take the reigns and go" type of person? Knowing what type of client YOU are can help determine what type of Ad Manager will suit you best. For example, our clients like high touch and communication so our white glove style boutique agency is exactly what they're looking for. ⁠

3.) Ask about what they are doing to combat the loss of data from the iOS update--In my opinion, every good Ad Manager is using some other source for data gathering. We use Google Analytics and make sure to set up all of our clients with robust tracking. You simply cannot rely on JUST data from Facebook Ads Manager anymore. Any good Ad Manager will know this. If they aren't doing this, I'd move on in your interview process.⁠

I'm seeing them almost daily 😬

Accounts disappearing.
Accounts being inaccessible.
Account names being changed.

Whilst nothing is ever 100% secure (some of the scams out there are getting VERY sophisticated!!) there are ways you can be proactive about lessening the chances of this happening to you 🙂

Great question! 👉🏻 A pixel is a piece of code put onto your website that collects data and communicates with an ad account.

What does that mean?👇🏻
It enables you to follow up with your website visors and actually track the actions people take on your website (e.g. completing a purchase, adding to their cart, clicking read more etc.)

This makes your ads more effective AND helps you get a better return on investment (ROI)!
