When it comes to your brand identity, that’s something you just can’t push aside if you want to grow, stand out from your competitors, and resonate with your target audience. 👀

As a brand designer, I’m clearly biased BUT that doesn’t mean I’m wrong or want the best for your biz.

Just like getting for a wedding or even for your work day — you want to look + feel your best. And that’s exactly how your brand should feel too. 🫶🏻

So, what exactly does a brand identity include? It will include all of the visual elements unique to your biz like:

— Your primary logo
— Secondary logo
— Marks aka supplemental design elements
— Color palette
— Patterns and/or textures

And that’s just the beginning GF! 😉

How do you know you’re really ready to invest in branding?

Just like anything else in life — there’s never a right time — but there are a few signs that point to how professional branding will bring your brand to the next level.

Branding isn’t just about the visual design, it’s so much more.

It positions your brand and marketing efforts to establish that like, know, trust factor with your target audience.

It gives your audience a way to remember you, creates an identity for your biz, and sets you apart from the competition that’s out there.

It creates emotions + feelings towards your brand which increases interest and the value your brand offers.

Why I have so much passion for the health + wellness industry ⤵️

Working with women in the health + wellness industry lights a fire up inside me for many reasons.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Back in 2015, I started having stomach issues which led me to a GI. Nothing really came of the scope other than having a slight intolerance to gluten.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Ever since then I have been mindful of my gluten intake, but of course the gut is the most difficult parts of the body to heal.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Other than having gut issues myself, I love all things health + wellness.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Whether it be riding on the Peloton, taking a online strength class, walking outside, whipping up a delicious gluten-free meal, or tuning into one of the many wellness podcasts I love -- this industry is a big part of my life. 💛

Bringing back these Monday inspirational quotes because they’ve taken a backseat, and Monday’s need a little extra oomph, right?! 👊🏻

This quote has so many different meanings to it.

It can relate to your health + wellness, work and relationships.

For me, it’s a little bit of everything but one thing that sticks out most is my wellness.

What this means for me is cooking more meals, feeding my body with good food that’ll give me energy, lessen the foods/drinks that make me feel crappy or anxious, and keeping a positive mindset overall.

So, the big question for today is what’s one thing you want to work on to create that life you dream of?

Prepping for the last quarter of 2022, and just thinking about some of the goals I had for this year.

Most of the goals were met, but others were not (and that’s okay).

I think there is so much pressure sometimes to make X amount of money or booking projects for X amount in order to be “successful”.

Well, I’m saying that’s complete BS if ya ask me. Sure, money is how you live but doesn’t or shouldn’t define how you measure success because that looks different for everyone.

Some of goals for 2022 were:

- launching consulting/mentorship
- create a monthly newsletter
- monthly blog posts
- $10k months
- designing more shopify sites
- guest speak on two podcasts
- outsource pinterest management

Now looking back on these goals, I can proudly say that I’ve achieved most of them but the $10k months (not so much).

But looking back at this year’s accomplishments, I’m more than satisfied with how my business is growing + how I’m defining what success looks like to me.

💛 All things health, wellness and fitness are a huge passion of mine (hence why I love working with women in this field)

💛 Another big one is fashion. I'd describe my style (personal & home) as modern boho, chic with an edge. So think, Anthropologie, West Elm, and World Market vibes.

💛 I turned the big 3-0 this past year and lots of y'all are always shocked to find this out haha. I can thank my dad for the baby face genes.

💛 My husband and I have lived in 5 states since graduating college, and 7 different apartments. Let's just say I cannot freaking wait until we're more permanently rooted next summer!

💛 I am a sneaker gal through and through. I'll rock the occasional heel but it's most always a platform or boot.

💛 Comedy + Pixar/animated movies are usually my go-to. Specifically prime time Adam Sandler days.

I also wanted to chat about how colors psychology impacts your branding.

Colors play an important role in marketing. Think about it. When you're scrolling your phone, colors have the impact to immediately grab your attention.

Since colors are so impactful, it's important to what colors you choose and how you use them.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Selecting the right colors for your brand and using them consistently across platforms will help with make for a better user experience and marketing performance. 👏🏻

Even just selecting one primary color and using it across your marketing efforts can increase brand recognition by 80%!!
