In my role as a Creative Consultant, I provide creative direction which includes brand identity, creative brand envisioning, website and portfolio continuity, and special projects. I continue to mentor photographers, artists and small business owners toward reaching their highest potential. I began my official career working in the Arts right out of college, with
the American Guild of Musical Art
ists, where I began as Special Events Director and eventually became Director of Development for almost 7 years. My passion for photography was fueled by my friendship with the founder of MTV, John Lack, who exposed me to fine art photography in New York City. I found an interest in the Art side of the photography business, and served as a liaison for world-renowned artist and photographer Peter Beard. Beard enlisted my expertise to help him produce his first portrait show at the Fahey/Klein Gallery in Los Angeles. During this prolific partnership, I spearheaded a creative collaboration between investors/ art collectors and Mr. Beard, in the spirit of creating a colossal photography show at Il Duomo, in Milan, Italy. Merging art and commerce, I worked as a producer and agent in NY with such notable photographers as Taryn Simon, Gentl & Hyers, Norman Jean Roy, Michael Lavine, Gerald Forster and Jeff Reidel, among others. I have served as a Creative Consultant since 2005. Today, as I live and work in Charleston, I am fortunate to have been made President of the Renaissance Women of Charleston, a cultural, artistic and philanthropic group of women.
