Ok here we go again. We’re looking for a Charleston-based social media manager to join our team. This role is for someone with a creative eye and good at storytelling. You don’t need a fancy camera, but you do need to understand lighting and photography. You also need to be a halfway decent writer. You can’t use ChatGPT for all of your captions. That pi**es us off. If your idea of a strong caption is “Saturdays are for the girls,” please don’t apply. In fact, let’s just go ahead and say that you need to write at at least an eighth-grade level. This is a serious job.
The ideal candidate is creative and detail-oriented. Equal parts left-brained and right-brained, if that makes sense. Someone who has strong ideas but also the follow-through to make them happen. You’ll be working pretty independently. You won’t be micromanaged. We probably won’t even answer your texts half the time but you’re gonna do great.
Oh — and if you also know how to make little graphics about like Sunday brunch and stuff, that would be cool. We’re sick of making brunch graphics.
