After years of moving around, I’ve come to realize that true happiness in a new environment comes from finding a place that fits the lifestyle you desire and feeling connected to a community. As a real estate professional, I’m driven, motivated, and resilient. In the past few years, I’ve successfully guided well over 100 first-time homebuyers to find their dream homes and navigate the complex buying process. My experience as a trainer and mentor at Keller Williams, coupled with my licenses in South Carolina, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey, enables me to facilitate easy transitions for clients moving between the northern and southern states or seeking a summer home. Before you begin looking for a home near Joint Base Charleston, there’s one very important question to answer:

Where will you actually be reporting?

The Air Base is located in North Charleston, while the Weapons Station is approximately 10 miles away in Goose Creek. That may not sound significant—but Charleston traffic, your reporting time and the gate you use can make those two duty locations feel much farther apart. 📍 REPORTING TO THE AIR BASE?
Areas you may want to explore include:

• North Charleston

• Hanahan

• Southern Summerville and Oakbrook

• Select areas of Goose Creek

📍 REPORTING TO THE WEAPONS STATION?

Your search may include:

• Goose Creek

• Hanahan

• Southern Moncks Corner

• Select Summerville and Cane Bay communities

Hanahan can be especially interesting because of its central position between the two locations—but the exact address still matters.

My biggest advice? Don’t choose a home simply because the listing says it’s “near Joint Base Charleston.” Map the exact property to your assigned gate at the time you expect to report for duty. A route that looks easy on a Sunday afternoon may feel completely different on a weekday morning.
