Simple identification solution! A brushed-metal, aluminum equipment tag helps client Mining Motors clearly brand every refurbished motor that passes through their facilities. The logomark, designed and implemented by BBCG in 2018, remains a distinctive part of the company's image.

In 2003, the principals involved with the northern West Virginia law practice The Employment Law Center met with CEO Bryan Boyd to share their interest in branding the firm and exploring how they might benefit from a fresh image reflecting the firm’s focus moving forward.
Two months of concentrated discussion, review, and visual prototypes yielded a brand image which truly conveys the essence of The Center’s work and mission. The color choices speak to both the diversity of the practice and its clientele. Thoughtful arrangement of letters from the firm’s name are positioned inside the color boxes, providing clientele a sense of person-to-person engagement and underscoring the highly individualized nature of the firm’s work.
The Employment Law Center has a storied and proud family history of labor activism from the 1930s through today. That history is evident in the leadership forged by Paul Rusen (great-grandfather of attorney Kirk Auvil) and Paul D. Rusen.

Back in the early 1990s, with the new millennium still off in the distance, Republic Container got a new CEO who set out to breathe new life into the historic metal barrel manufacturing company. Bryan Boyd Creative Group was one of the first design firms to receive the invite to explore ideas and put them to paper for a review. Republic’s instructions were brief: keep the design simple and keep it patriotic! Later that week, on a return drive to Charleston from an out-of-state meeting, inspiration struck. “I remember pulling off an exit at the WV/Ohio boarder,” said CEO Bryan Boyd. “With my FLAIR felt tip, I quickly sketched the concept on a Stewart’s Original Hot Dogs napkin!”
The red, white (grey) & blue icon still is a classic design that skillfully manages to define the product even without any logotype. The implied ‘American Made’ is underscored by the banded background.

The Underprivileged Children Foundation seeks to enhance and advance the lives of West Virginia children and families in need. Established in 2016, the Foundation is creating a vision of hope for the future for our most vulnerable population.
Shortly after its formation, the Foundation invited Bryan Boyd Creative Group to offer its thoughts on how best to convey visual clarity for the organization’s broad purpose and ambitious mission. Adding credence to the Bryan Boyd Creative Group’s recommendations and suggestions was its understanding and respect for the challenges of rural initiatives. Firm president Bryan Boyd was born and raised in the coalfield community of Northfork in McDowell County.
In short order, our agency’s brand team homed in on the essence and spirit of the Foundation’s work. The resulting brand conveys energy and hope with its colorful imagery of happy children, a palette then reinforced in the simple, clean typography.
The vibrant, joyful brand remains one of the agency’s favorite marks ever created. It makes us smile each time we see it!
