It's been a busy couple weeks. First time painting a name on "Faster Daddy". They've had problems with vinyl names being ruined by gas spills. The gas fill is right above the name. Started with multiple stages of wet sanding then polished the transom Separate paint stencils for each color and abraded inside the stencils for paint adhesion. Painted with Awlcraft so it should withstand any future spills. Chris Craft Blue and Cloud White. Got plenty of hours into it. Color matched MCs on a catameran, guaranteed to add half a knot to the hull speed. A rope font for Tal Padre Tal Figlio (Like Father Like Son). Escape was reproducing the old lettering as close as possible to hide the gel coat discoloration from many years in the Florida sun. Customers daughter designed Soulshine. I put it on in 22 karat gold burnish. Barb wanted the Barbie font for Barbies Barge. I did some digging and discovered there are 7 versions since the first in 1959. This one ran from 1971 to 1995 and was used for the movie. Had a big order of bumper stickers. And finally some Clark logos for a very old lift truck that was restored, and some logos for one of my favorite local shops. Lots more in the works.
