As Black women, we hold a unique lens on the world — a perspective that is essential, powerful, and often forged from resilience.

When we don’t tell these stories, the impactful voices we seek to honor might be left unheard. We carry this responsibility with deep reverence, and while the journey can get heavy — we SEE y’all 🥹🫂 — we walk it out with heart, purpose, and passion.

THIS is our legacy, and the good news is:
we’re FAR from finished.

We got a call to be ready in twelve hours to film the Vice President of the United States. Yes, you read that right. We completely rearranged our schedules to make it to Durham, North Carolina for THIS moment, because yes — this is, in fact, the Vice President of the United States. We are honored, and so in awe.

THE IMPACT:
At POP Media, Women’s History Month isn’t confined to March; it’s woven into the fabric of our everyday existence. Today, we pause to honor and celebrate an extraordinary woman: Madam Vice President Kamala Harris. Being a part of this historic moment leaves us speechless.

THE ACTION:
Today isn’t just another day — Election Day is of profound significance, where exercising our right to vote isn’t just a privilege, but a sacred duty passed down by our ancestors, vital for our present communities, and essential for the generations yet to come.
