get ready: ’s Jewish deli classics are back on the lunch menu, starting this week!

The beloved pandemic-era pop-up will open for lunch service on Wednesday, Feb. 18, inside .kitch West End. Hours are 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, with pick-up orders and delivery available via Toast.

Reopening Meshugganah is deeply personal for owner Rob Clement. After his wife, Franki, died in 2025, he stepped away from the kitchen – the part of his life that had always defined him – to take care of his two children.

He said bringing the deli back honors the vision he and Franki shared.

“Coming back now feels like stepping into the part of my life I have missed – cooking, leading a team, and making food people enjoy,” Clement said.

The menu will feature longtime favorites, such as scratch-made pastrami sandwiches, potato knishes, and matzo ball soup. Desserts, including black-and-white cookies and rugelach, will come from Meztger’s Bakery, a partnership Rob has developed through his consulting work.

Clement wants each dish to serve as a nod of gratitude to the community that supported him during the pop-up era and the hardest moments of his personal life.

His way of saying thank you—with food.

“This isn’t your average deli,” he said. “People can taste the difference, and that is what makes Meshugganah special.”

What an honor to plan and execute the visit of a special guest at last night.

Concord resident , who played Rolf Gruber in the 1965 film, visited Belk Theater for a night of reminiscing and celebration, including a well-attended pre-show talk, joining the cast on stage and sharing time with the ensemble backstage.

Seeing the joy and surprise in guests’ faces when they saw or met (or posed for photos) with Daniel was a true bright spot in these troubling times, and a welcome reminder of the power of art and human connection.

Anniversary? What?

Time flies when you’re in the center of a creative hub, apparently.

🚍 We have been tenants at Camp North End since June 2018, setting up shop in the silver Airstream on the Raceway when there wasn’t much happening at Camp, tbh. We joked about being the perfect setting for a zombie apocalypse, but we knew then — as we do now — that there were big, DIFFERENT, things on the horizon.

🗓️ April 1, 2020 (right?) we moved into Bunkhouse after outgrowing the trailer and have loved every moment ever since. Ok, mostly every — we don’t get princess parking outside the front door as often anymore.

🎉 We have worked with Camp as a client, including the opening of the Keswick food stalls in June 2020, and much more.

It’s wild (truly — the landscaping in front of our office is taller than most of our team), non-traditional and unpredictable in all the best ways. Example: When we inquired about an old door to use as a conference table in our office, we were hustled into a secret storage room full of the most amazing historical salvage and offered a chance to pick from a literal pile of options. That’s weird and we love it.
