get ready: ’s Jewish deli classics are back on the lunch menu, starting this week!
The beloved pandemic-era pop-up will open for lunch service on Wednesday, Feb. 18, inside .kitch West End. Hours are 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, with pick-up orders and delivery available via Toast.
Reopening Meshugganah is deeply personal for owner Rob Clement. After his wife, Franki, died in 2025, he stepped away from the kitchen – the part of his life that had always defined him – to take care of his two children.
He said bringing the deli back honors the vision he and Franki shared.
“Coming back now feels like stepping into the part of my life I have missed – cooking, leading a team, and making food people enjoy,” Clement said.
The menu will feature longtime favorites, such as scratch-made pastrami sandwiches, potato knishes, and matzo ball soup. Desserts, including black-and-white cookies and rugelach, will come from Meztger’s Bakery, a partnership Rob has developed through his consulting work.
Clement wants each dish to serve as a nod of gratitude to the community that supported him during the pop-up era and the hardest moments of his personal life.
His way of saying thank you—with food.
“This isn’t your average deli,” he said. “People can taste the difference, and that is what makes Meshugganah special.”
