As our firm enters its third decade, we find ourselves emerging from a recessionary economic climate that is clearly uprooting the emphasis of our industry and placing priority on space allotment, overall size, and budget restraints. The Studio of Christopher Phelps has historically worked side by side with some of the Carolinas best residential builders and takes great pride in keeping in step with the market changes and advancements. We are comfortable designing a twenty five hundred square foot empty nester home or a fifteen thousand square foot personal estate. So much to ♥️ about this home being built in the Cliffs at Walnut Grove, which is getting worldwide 🌎attention lately! This is where the is set to debut after 80 years during the of 2026!! 🙌🏻🏌️‍♂️

I can imagine many wanting to live inside this architectural design. It has all the desirable features and qualities of a comforting mountain PGA tour golf course retreat. ⛳️

It’s hard to believe that 2025 is a wrap in less than 10 hours!

This is an excellent time to reflect on all the wonderful projects I have worked on this year. I appreciate my clients, vendors, and partners so very much. And 2026 is looking to be a busy year for the studio, for which I am grateful. So much cool stuff lies ahead!! 😃

This was a special year for us for another reason: We launched a new trademark, brand identity system, and website, which I am quite proud of. The design crystallizes and expresses the essence of my career, the studio, and my love for residential architecture.

In January, this work will be featured in Flagship Annual Showcase magazine. 8,000 entries nationwide led to 800 award-winning projects, and we are thrilled to be included among the best and the brightest leading the way in corporate branding design.

Big shout-out and thanks to Denise Lorraine Davis, who made it her mission to rebrand by harnessing the spirit of the great, storied architect and designer Frank Lloyd Wright – whom I ardently admire.
