Did you know Charlotte has lost more than 8% of its tree canopy in the last decade? 😢

I didn’t either.

But I also learned that Charlotte is working hard to live up to its nickname, the City of Trees—and it’s paying off. Charlotte is reportedly 38 times cleaner than the average U.S. city, thanks in part to organizations like Keep Charlotte Beautiful and countless community volunteers.💚

From tree preservation and pollinator habitat to public education and community spaces like Tuckaseegee Arboretum & Gardens (TAG), there are a lot of people working behind the scenes to protect and grow Charlotte’s urban forest. 🦋 🐝

We’re proud to support TAG, created by the City of Charlotte Landscape Management team and supported by City of Charlotte

This past weekend, Charlotte celebrated the official opening of TAG during Pollinator Month—a new space dedicated to trees, pollinators, and preserving what makes our city beautiful.

Somewhere between raising kids, spending time with friends, building a life, and making memories, summer showed up.

We’re realizing more and more that none of these parts of our lives exist separately.

Our family. Our community. Our work. The chaos. The joy.

It’s all intertwined.

And maybe that’s what this season is teaching us—how to evolve a little. To make more room for what matters. To be more present. To pay attention to the moments that are easy to miss when life is moving fast.

Lately, we’re just trying a little harder to savor it all while it’s happening.

The older I get, the more I realize that communities don’t magically happen.

Someone has to create them.

Someone has to raise their hand and say:

“I wish this existed.”

And then have the courage to build it.

One of the unexpected gifts of creating a working women’s golf community has been meeting other women who are doing the same kind of intentional building.

Women creating opportunities.
Women creating connection.
Women willing to reinvent themselves.
Women creating the things they wish existed.

One of those ideas is beginning to take shape right here in our community.

A brand built with intention.

A space designed for connection.

A vision that’s quickly becoming reality.

We’re honored to play a small role in helping bring it to life.

Something beautiful is taking shape.

And this isn’t the only exciting thing we’ve been working on lately.
