Three years ago, we were trusted by Agatha Bisbikis to create signage for Lion Services here in Charlotte a place that not only supports our armed forces but creates real opportunity for the visually impaired.

A few months ago, while we were remodeling a restaurant down the street, my brother Yianni pointed out someone standing outside while we met with our crews. I stepped out. He said he was just trying to grab a bite to eat and didn’t realize we were closed. He mentioned calling an Uber.

I asked if he worked at Lion Services. He said yes.
I told him I go to church with Agatha and said don’t worry I’ll take you. We grabbed food to go from my buddy Nick at South 21 and I took him back. That’s how I met Devon. And had the privilege to hear his story.

Yesterday, I get a call from Agatha about the Braille Trail the first of its kind in the country, right here in Charlotte. And just like that… full circle.

Today, I got to reconnect with Devon again.

It’s a reminder that sometimes the smallest moments aren’t small at all. God puts people in your path for a reason and brings it all back together when the time is right.

Grateful to be a small part of something that means so much.
