Pride week means we have plenty of color running through the Cooley & Co. print farm! We’re busy printing, restocking, and getting everything ready for Charlottesville Pride this Saturday. 💕

This incredible teenager is using her summer break to completely change lives! Gracie Martinez, a student in San Antonio, spent her summer designing and building a custom pediatric mobility chair for children with complex disabilities. Using an open-source design and 3D printing technology, she created this amazing chair for a local nonprofit called TEAMability using just $150 in materials. This provides a highly affordable alternative to traditional commercial mobility chairs that can cost thousands of dollars. Gracie even 3D printed the cushions and added large wheels so the kids can learn to safely push themselves. She now hopes to teach other students how to build even more chairs for the community. What is the most inspiring act of community service you have ever witnessed? 💙

We would love to update our MakeGood TMT news but sadly we don't have anything to update. Charlottesville now has another maker so that's great! There have not been any new requests in our working area.

While waiting we are still sharing the MakeGood goals and showing off our 2 builds. I still get a sense of joy seeing Kenzie and Jericho in the pictures we share. Amazing children!

If you know someone in the area that could benefit from a TMT please send them to the MakeGood website to apply. We can also make the chairs even if someone doesn't want to go through that. All they need to do is contact us here on Facebook or at www.cooleyco3d.com We are here to help!

Man I've been slacking. We just haven't been printing things that make good timelapse videos. Here is a print for a new waste catcher. My current setup is driving me crazy so I'm trying this.

I'm kinda proud to say my calculator worked well in lab last night. My hands shake and it's hard to hang onto my slim calculator and punch buttons too. This is touch screen with every function I would need with an easy to use interface. Ohms Law, quadratic, identify transistors, full regular calc, power, etc. Just waiting on the USB and the battery to print the case for it.

I have built a calculator for my ETR class. Sure regular calcs work but this one is made by me with just the functions I need in a clear and easy to use touch interface.

The vending machine kept Mac Daddy BUSY this weekend. 😂
