Before the newspaper even hits the post office or the racks today, we need to make a couple corrections.
On Page 6, under the headline "Cross Country Team spotlighted; Graham won't seek re-election." Burlington Board of Education member Terry Graham will seek another term. We will print a correction in the Nov. 13 edition of the CMR.
On Page 7, under the Holiday Open House photo featuring Cherokee Floral & Gifts, the cutline should read, "Margaret Goss, left, of Carmen shops at Cherokee Floral & Gifts with former Carmen native Erica Irlbeck, who traveled from Texas, during the Holiday Open House sponsored by Cherokee Main Street. Owner Lynnetta Cressler, second from left, opened from 1 to 4 p.m. Nov. 2 with the help of Georgia Wilson (not Wessels) and Judy Allison."
Not the greatest start we've had to a news week, but we appreciate our readers letting us know when we goof! The Nov. 6 edition is on its way to mailboxes, and you can pick up a copy on Thursday at these participating businesses:
