Today, I’ll wear purple in honor of everyone whose life has been touched by cystic fibrosis. 💜

Our family has been incredibly blessed to witness what can only feel like a miracle made possible through science—the development of gene modulators that have changed the course of this disease for so many. I will never stop being grateful for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the researchers, families, donors, and countless others who pushed forward when a future like this once seemed impossible.

And yet, sometimes I’m guilty of forgetting that not everyone has experienced that same outcome. There are still so many people around the world fighting hard against CF every single day, waiting for their breakthrough.

So today, 25% of all retail purchases at Details will be donated to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation—an organization with a remarkable history of turning donated dollars into research, treatments, and real progress.

Today I wear purple with gratitude for how far we’ve come—and hope for the day when everyone with CF can say the same. 💜

Today as many, enjoy a well earned day off please remember the veterans who fought for the freedom we live every day. And while we relax, gather, and grill, remember that someone is still showing up. Someone has to feed and care for the animals if we are going to enjoy our steaks and bacon. Medical staff are still showing up to care for our loved ones and first responders will still be there ready when someone needs help, for all the laborers who are still doing the work that simply can’t wait this shout out is for you- We appreciate you.!!
