Three days after my last blog post in August 2025, I was fighting an infection that nearly cost me my hand.

As I approach the one-year anniversary of that day, I've been thinking about something we all take for granted...

Now THAT is how you throw a FUNdraiser… because let’s be honest — FUNdraiser starts with FUN! ✨🥂

The Suffolk Humane Society Paws For the Arts Gala at Cedar Point Club was filled with laughter, joy, amazing people, beautiful art from talented local artists, and so much love for the animals. ❤️🐶🐱

From incredible conversations to one-of-a-kind artwork and unforgettable moments, the night was a beautiful reminder of what happens when a community comes together for a cause that matters.

A huge appPAWS to everyone who attended, donated, created, volunteered, and supported the mission to help local animals in need. The energy in the room was absolutely PAWsome! 🐾✨

Because saving lives and supporting animals should always come with a little sparkle, a lot of heart… and plenty of FUN. 💕
