Welcome to JEBTAM Publishing, LLC!
Jebtam didn’t start as an agency.
After a 30+ year career in industry, I originally went out on my own to do consulting—that’s where the name Jebtam first came from: Jebtam Consulting, LLC.
Around that same time, in 2018, I also made what was supposed to be a passive investment in websites.
But like a lot of things, it didn’t stay passive for long.
Because of circumstances (long story) that forced my hand, I had to dive in and build an entirely new skillset from the ground up. Fortunately, my background in engineering—specifically process control engineering, where I was coding systems to run chemical reactors—translated more than I expected.
That foundation made the transition into coding and building websites a natural one.
From there, I focused on learning how to design, build, monetize, and market sites that actually generate revenue. Email marketing was a core part of that from day one—because while traffic is great, owning your audience is everything.
As that side of the business grew, it became clear there was an opportunity to build something bigger—but there were missing pieces.
That’s where Alyssa came in.
Her strengths in social media, creativity, and marketing were a perfect complement to the technical foundation. What started as managing the social side of our own revenue-generating websites quickly turned into something much bigger.
But what really stood out was her ability to connect—not just with audiences, but with clients. She has a natural instinct for understanding what people are trying to build, and clients love working with her.
That changed everything.
Today, she’s my full partner and Jebtam’s Chief Creative Officer.
From there, the full vision for Jebtam Publishing started to take shape.
What is “JEBTAM”?
It comes from the first and middle initials of family—mine, Alyssa’s, and my wife Barbara’s. This was always meant to be something personal.
Not a traditional agency.
Not a high-volume operation.
But a boutique-style business built around a simple idea:
Combine strategy, technology, and creativity—and actually make it work.
Today, that means:
• Custom-coded websites built for performance—not templates
• Cost-effective solutions for startups and small-to-mid-sized businesses
• SEO strategies that actually move the needle
• Email marketing systems built to grow and retain your audience
• Content, social media, and podcasting that expand reach
• Business consulting backed by real executive experience
• And most importantly—we teach our clients how to manage and grow their own online presence
We don’t believe in locking clients into dependency.
We believe in building something strong—and showing you how to run with it.
