Sketch'z™ was formed in 1987 by a graduate of The Art Institute of Philadelphia. He was trying to find his way in the "Land of Opportunity". It all started with setting up an airbrushing booth at a local trade show. As small business owners would come up to the booth and ask to have multiple shirts airbrushed with "WAY" too much text, etc. he would direct them to buying printed T'z from a local T-

shirt printer. Finally, one customer said, "But I want you to print my shirts. If you had the right equipment, do you think you could screen print my order for me?" He said "yeah, sure, I'll give it a try". So, with the thought, "If It's Art...It's Wearable™" we were off and squeegeeing!

DTF is on roll...literally...when printing large quantity runs. A Wonderfull choice when doing multi-color images on many different garment styles and materials. Images are printed out on with large format industry printers then trimmed apart and heat pressed onto the garment.

There are some serious pre-press things that take place before making screens, setting up the press, adding squeegees, ink etc. What order to print these 2 colors + a white underlay on BLACK fabric. What screen mesh count, emulsion for image, squeegee durometer hardness, how many strokes, what speed, flash time, We think our choices turned out end products that looked swell and the clients response concluded!!
