Big corporations may have larger budgets, but small businesses have something far more powerful: connection, personality, flexibility, and the ability to move fast.

People do not connect with faceless companies. They connect with real people. They want to know who they are supporting, who is behind the work, and why it matters. That authenticity is something you cannot fake and large brands struggle to replicate.

One of the things we love most about video is the opportunity to tell stories that matter.

Recently, The Social Ginger was hired to capture a series of testimonial videos highlighting the impact of Cristo Rey Richmond High School's internship program. These videos feature both students and employer partners, showcasing the meaningful connections and real-world experiences that help prepare students for future success.

We had the pleasure of filming at Maymont, Blue Heron Captial, Bon Secours Richmond Health System, and Henrico County Government, and each organization brought a unique perspective to the story. It was inspiring to hear firsthand how this program is making a difference for both students and businesses throughout our community.

A special shoutout to our videographer, Mason, who spent several weeks and several shoots capturing interviews, B-roll, and all the moments that will bring these stories to life.

This project was an absolute joy to be part of, and we can't wait to see the finished videos shared with the community. 🧡
