X (Twitter) finally found their business model. A pay-as-you-go API with no freebies.
Twitter is not typical social media built around keeping people on the platform; it's always been about sharing information, whether you are there or not, with content constantly being distributed and Twitter as the source. Most activity on the platform is automated — via API.
At the end of the day, business is about selling. You have to cut through all the digital abstraction layers and noise and get back to your core product. Do that, and you will make a profit.
