Is the Instagram engagement rate (ER) the bane of your existence, and the object of all your desires?
Then keep reading 👇
Gone are the days of 10% engagement rate on business accounts. These days, if you can get 2%, you are doing great. 1%? Could be better but fine. Even lower than that?
Maybe these four tips from us will help:
Respond to people’s comments with questions; it will prompt them to reply to you, thereby increasing your engagement.
Post more carousel posts; people have to tap multiple times to scroll through the carousel all the way to the end, which also helps increase engagement.
Post more content. More content leads to more engagement naturally, but only if the content is of good quality. Otherwise, you risk getting even less engagement, so take that into account.
End every post with a call to action that serves as an engagement trigger, such as
• “comment below!”
• “what do you think?”
• “do you agree?”
• “what is your experience like?”
• “comment with your favorite emoji!”
• “pick your favorite,” etc.
