This time last year I had the incredible opportunity to travel to Italy to learn about their flour milling process.
4 marketing pros/publicists, 6 content creators and 1 very patient translator
We traveled Milan > Parma > Rome > Lucera > Napoli over 7 Days
We visited 3 flour mills – Molino Grassi, Molino De Vita & Molino Casillo
12 lunches & dinners, 1 pasta making class & 1 press conference
And an unbelievable trip to Pompeii!
I left with such a deep appreciation for the amount of time and effort that goes into the process from testing the grain to the milling of the flour and semolina. It is truly exceptional for a reason between the sourcing and the quality standards.
