Soon, Instagram users will be able to do keyword research on the platform. The company announced that users in six countries, including the UK, US, Ireland, and Canada, will be able to search the platform using keywords. Before, users could only search for hashtags or accounts.
Here’s how your business can prepare:
✔️ Use SEO tools like SEMRush to identify popular keywords and topics for your niche.
✔️ Note what keywords your competitors have in their Instagram bio.
✔️ Be sure to include relevant keywords in your Instagram bio.
✔️ Consistently use those keywords in your content.
