What does sitting next to a stranger on an empty bus have to do with in-store product sampling?
A whole lot, actually.
We all have unwritten rules about personal space. When someone gets too close—especially when there’s no reason to—it can immediately make us uncomfortable.
The same principle applies during an in-store activation. How a Brand Ambassador approaches a shopper, where they stand, and how much space they give them can have a real impact on whether that interaction feels comfortable or intrusive.
