Over the last month of November I’ve been part of a wonderful team of artists and creators helping build at the historic Medinah Shrine Temple. Although I was everywhere at once assisting/collaborating/assigning work, my pride and joy is the grinch display I made with the help of couch he built for a previous pop-up. I mostly used scrap wood I found along with spray paint cans left over at our warehouse. This didn’t cost much to make and I like to pride myself on creating without a big budget. If I can see all the pieces I have it’s easy for me to formulate in my head what that would look like in reality. Swipe thru to see the process. Everyone kept saying the couch looked like it belonged to the grinch so I mocked up what that would look like and then executed my plan once I got approval. I wanna give a special thanks to .mega.art for introducing me to some spray paint that really tied this thing together and allowed me to create the shadow and depth I was really looking for. Also special thanks go to for leaving behind some incredible geometric scrap wood that helped build the fingers. For me it’s the process of bringing all of these little pieces together to make one large display that really makes me grateful. I can’t take full credit as this took a village of thoughtful and extremely talented artists to put it all together. I feel like a conductor and we just had all the right instruments to make beautiful music together. ❤️💫
The Grinch is on display the entire month of December! Bring a Grinchy friend and snap a pic for the gram y’all.

I haven't posted on my page for some time. I thought it would be fitting to show my metamorphosis. I've gone from physical art to digital and now I get to build the very things I dream of in the digital realm. This butterfly design is by my good friend and fabricator Mark Trace. He hired me to assist with the build and to problem solve some of the design challenges we faced. I am incredibly grateful I was included on this journey. Thanks to Auris Presents for bringing this project to light and allowing us the creative freedom to spread our "wings." I'd like to also thank Michelle Echevarria for putting in the long hours and painful cuts and bruises that accompanied attaching the vinyl. She powered through and I'm so happy I could be along for the adventure. Lastly I'd like to say, it's been a rough few years for all of us but I'm so incredibly grateful to start this year 2022 with a sort of metamorphosis and an opening of these wings to commemorate those we've lost while also inspiring that with which we aspire to be. I wish you the best for this year and many more to come. Thank you!

Van Buren Bridge, concept LED suspension. I've been drawing different pictures of what an LED installation would look like on the walkway over the metra trains. In a time when there is a lot of talk about building a wall, I would rather build a bridge. I welcome the connections that are brought by bridges, they transport both people and ideas to new areas of being.

Latest creation. This piece took me approx. 7hrs to complete. It's a little reminiscent of some earlier work I did that incorporates clouds as well as a dis positioned mandala center. The mismatch circles bring out the negative space into the foreground and in this case creates a black crescent moon shape. The nature, symbolism, colors, motion, and stars come together to make one truly cosmic piece. I'm usually pretty bad at writing my own art descriptions but I have to say this isn't too shabby. :D you can find this piece hanging at rooz cafe 1928 park ave Oakland, CA There's a ton of great reasonably priced art in there so if you're in the Bay Area, don't make any excuses and pay a visit.
