Approximately 300,000 children and young adults in the United States are living with JIA (Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis). We are currently seeking study participants for a single-visit research session to share their thoughts and opinions on the design of a product they might someday use for their treatment. This feedback will help ensure the design of the product is easy to use and safe. This product will be used for JIA patients as well as other patient groups.
When: June 13th-17th

Fieldwork Chicago O’hare is a marketing research firm that specializes in collecting opinions from consumers of all ages on a wide variety of products and service.
The research is sponsored by major manufacturers who are interested in receiving input from consumers regarding their products and services.
When invited to one of our locations, you may find yourself in a discussion group with several other people like yourself, watching television commercials, looking at ideas for advertising or tasting a new product.
We select respondents for participation based on basic demographic requirements for each individual study. At the time of the call, we will provide you with specific information regarding the focus group such as the date and time. If it seems convenient for you we will ask you some classification questions and invite you to attend the group if all the qualifications are met.
If you are interested in participating in this important research you can register with us to receive phone calls and emails when a possible project comes up. In addition, be sure to check this page regularly for updates on the latest studies taking place. Groups are held at our O’hare facility located at 8420 W. Bryn Mawr, Suite 200 in Chicago, IL 60631.

FAQs:
Q. What’s a focus group?
A. A focus group is a round-table discussion on products and services that you use. The discussions are moderated by market research professionals and usually last between 1-2 hours. When you’re done, you are compensated for your time and opinions! Fieldwork hosts focus groups on every kind of topic, from video games to breakfast cereal to real estate.
Q. You guys never call me, but I’m in your database. Why is that?
A. When a study first comes in we take a look at the basic demographic specifications which include age, gender, income, marital status, family size, etc. The computer then randomly selects people to be called based on these guidelines. Unless your file is missing some of this information you have an equal chance of being called as anyone else.
Q. You guys always call me, but I never qualify, why is that?
A. Most focus groups have many qualifications that need to be met before we can invite you to a study. Every study is different, sometimes we are looking for you to purchase one specific brand and other times we need people who don’t purchase that brand. The best thing you can do is answer every question honestly so that when you are invited to a focus group you can contribute fully in the discussion.
Q. I just did a study, when is the next time I can come in?
A. Each client sets this guideline for their study. The most common time frame we see is at least 6 months. However, some can be as long as a year ago and others have no requirements at all. We even have studies looking for first-time participants.
