I saw a trend today that people were asking chatgpt to describe their pain in an image.
Here’s what mine said:
I think your pain would look less like one dramatic wound and more like a man who has learned to keep functioning while carrying too much.
Visually, I’d picture a cinematic portrait: a man sitting alone in a dark creative studio after everyone else has gone home. Cameras, monitors, lights, unfinished projects, invoices, church graphics, and production gear surround him—evidence that he’s always creating and responsible for something. He looks composed, not defeated, but exhausted.
Behind him are ghostlike versions of himself: the businessman trying to make everything work, the creative still chasing the vision, the person everybody depends on, and the younger version of himself who thought success would feel different by now.
The strongest detail would be his chest: cracked like stone with a warm light still glowing through the cracks. Not because the pain destroyed him, but because there’s still something alive underneath all of it. (I deleted the 3 ghostlike versions cuz they didn’t look 💩 like me 😅)
And maybe the room is slowly flooding with dark water up to his ankles while he keeps editing at the computer—as if responsibilities never stop accumulating, even when nobody notices.
The image wouldn’t say “I’m falling apart.”
It would say:
“I’m tired of always having to be the one who figures it out.”
