Deep dish just landed in DC and we are here for it. 🍕

Giordano's Pizza officially opened in Washington, D.C. this week, and getting to share an iconic story in a new market is one of our favorite parts of PR.

This wasn't about introducing Giordano's to everyone. We had the chance to connect with deeply loyal fans, former Illinois residents who were excited to have a taste of home nearby, while also introducing the brand to people experiencing it for the first time.

Our storytelling helps translate years of history, culture and tradition into something that resonates with both longtime fans and new audiences alike.

From our grand opening experience, one thing was clear: the best brand expansions don't leave home behind - they bring it with them.

10 years ago, Mekky Media was built on a simple belief: great work happens when talented people come together with purpose, passion and a genuine commitment to one another. Looking back, it's incredible to see how far that belief has carried us.

A decade of celebrations, late nights, award stages, client dinners, big wins, hard lessons and countless unforgettable moments. Through every chapter, one thing has remained constant: the people. The team members, clients, partners and friends who have trusted us, challenged us, supported us and made this journey so meaningful.

This is what 10 years looks like when you're surrounded by the right people and driven by a shared vision. We're incredibly proud of what we've built together and even more excited about what's ahead.

Join us in supporting the important work of Reclaim13 at their upcoming Golf Outing on June 4 at Twin Orchard Country Club in Long Grove. Reclaim13’s mission to prevent child trafficking and help survivors reclaim their lives with dignity, safety and hope is making a meaningful impact in our community.

Mekky Media was honored to help co-lead the recent U.S. Chamber of Commerce Small Business Council 2026 Spring Meeting in Chicago, led by Founder & CEO Michelle Mekky alongside fellow Council members Bill Rossi of Rossi Enterprises and Couch Clarity. Together, business leaders from across the country gathered for meaningful conversations around AI, innovation, mental health and the future of small business.

Over several days, attendees connected through collaborative discussions, immersive Chicago experiences and sessions focused on the evolving challenges and opportunities facing entrepreneurs today. This year was especially meaningful as Michelle Mekky served on the selection committee — an inspiring opportunity to help spotlight so many powerful, purpose-driven leaders.

We were also thrilled to see such an amazing turnout for Michelle’s 'Turn Press Into Profit' workshop. The energy in the room was incredible, and hearing how much it resonated means everything.

With 130+ national and independent retailers, plus dining and entertainment, North Riverside Park Mall continues to be a go-to destination for everyday connection just outside Chicago.

North Riverside Park Mall currently has two creative student displays showcasing culture and community at a special reception:
🔹KICKS AS CANVAS: Customized sneaker creations by students at Yollocalli Arts Reach Program () of the National Museum of Mexican Art.

🔹 OUR COMMUNITY, OUR STORIES: A cultural perspective art project from Cicero District 99, featuring elementary students’ colorful drawings and paintings celebrating the traditions, celebrations and everyday moments that unite us.

Our team recently visited the property to kick things off. Looking forward to sharing more soon!
