We’re excited to welcome **Joshua Knox** as the newest Video Editor / Production Assistant at MBJ Network!
Joshua is a recent graduate of Columbia College Chicago, where he earned his **Bachelor of Arts in Film & Television** and made the Dean’s List every semester a reflection of both his dedication and passion for storytelling through media.
During his time at Columbia, Joshua developed strong technical and creative skills in video production and post-production. He has hands-on experience with **Adobe Premiere Pro**, **AVID Media Compressor**, and a range of editing workflows, along with a strong foundation in story structure, communication, and analytical problem-solving.
Joshua’s creative background also includes studying TV and film writing at Second City, where he learned industry-standard screenplay formatting and story development techniques.
His portfolio features several editing and filmmaking projects, including documentaries like Demo Heartbeat, Dream Safari, and Rock Climber, as well as directing and writing the short film The Savior*. Joshua has also gained production experience working on camera crews capturing live sports broadcasts and teaching filmmaking and content creation as a **Lead Instructor at Creator Camp, where he helped young creators learn storytelling, editing, and YouTube production.
Joshua brings a creative mindset, technical skillset, and collaborative spirit that will strengthen our production team.
