Instagram is also changing, aligning with the evolving habits of its users.

GRAB YOUR AUDIENCE'S ATTENTION IN THE FIRST THREE SECONDS
You already know how important a hook is, so place your main message, question, or intrigue right at the beginning!

3 HOOKS
Use a hook at the start of the video, in visual part, in your speech and at the end in the post description. Always use all three hooks without exception.

3 THINGS THE ALGORITHM FAVORS and it's important to consider these three questions when creating your post:

1. Is the content interesting enough to be shared via DMs?
2. Does it encourage engagement from followers?
3. Is it valuable to your audience—will they learn, discover, or realize something new?

It may seem complicated, but I’m sure you’ve done this many times without even realizing it! On 1-on-1 consultations sessions, we pay special attention to content because not all content is suitable for advertising, and that's why not all content delivers the same results.

A trend that has been around for some time, suggesting that hashtags are becoming less important for audience engagement and post reach, has now officially taken center stage.

As of December 13th, you will no longer be able to follow new hashtag streams. For example, if you follow , you’ll still be able to search for it, but posts from this hashtag stream will no longer appear as suggested posts in your feed.

The hashtags you already follow will remain, but you won’t be able to follow new ones. For your small business, this change means you should not rely on hashtags if you’re aiming for greater visibility.

Content planning and originality will be more valuable than ever. While it might seem like Instagram is making things harder, this change is actually great because, in addition to smaller profiles being prioritized, original and authentic content will now become even more important and impactful.

Be clear and specific, be precise, and add a touch of yourself, your personality, and invite people to try, message you, or place an order...

Selling is anything but a rigid formula or algorithm that you cling to mindlessly. It's not enough to simply exist and write dreamy descriptions of your products. Let them be dreamy, passionate but also concrete and clear.

Would you buy a lamp that isn’t the focus of a photo with a caption saying, "Be the light where all is darkness"? Probably not! Because you don’t know if it’s a thought, an interior designer’s concept, or an ad for a lamp.

But if you try, "The lamp that lights up all your darkness awaits you at our showroom in the city center"—now that’s something concrete.

Let’s be clear: there’s no universal rule for every profile, and this post is meant to serve as a guideline.

It’s simply no longer enough to be sporadically active on Instagram and expect results, both in reach and in sales.

Now is the time when you really need to plan your content and post regularly.

Use all the formats Instagram offers—a bit of carousel posts, some Reels, single posts, optimize your profile bio, go live, and polish your story highlights.

All of this might seem like a lot, but we’re not part-timers at work, so why should we treat it that way here if we’re using this platform for our small business?
